Oxley’s Rock
is located in the very hub of Picton The apartment is decorated in neutral colours and features artworks by the local artist, Rick Edmonds and a Christchurch artist, Malcolm Mason. The living is extremely spacious with two leather sofas and a dining table seating six people. The latest entertainment equipment is available with a wide screen television, DVD player and stereo amplifier. The large kitchen has a double oven, ceramic cook top, full size fridge and freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The kitchen is fully kitted out so in-house catering is an option should you tire of the many wonderful restaurants in the area.
The three bedrooms are as follows: Main double bedded bedroom with ensuite. Double bedded room and twin bedded room. The ensuite has a large tiled walk in shower and the main bathroom has a bath with shower over. The utility room has a full size washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. Linen, duvets, pillows and towels are provided.
The comfortable lounge has the latest entertainment equipment including a wide screen television, DVD player and stereo amplifier. Sky television is provided. Pay as you go internet access is available to guest lap tops with wireless internet connection capability. This luxury apartment complex has a small communal gym which is equipped with a crosstrainer (Tunturi C40), rowing machine (Schwinn windrigger), bench and dumbbells. Our accommodation is suitable for families or groups of two or more couples. No pets are permitted and we respectfully request no smoking. Check in is 2 pm and check out 10 am. Our apartment rate is dependent on season and number of guests and ranges between $250 - $350 per night. "This apartment is fantastic value for money. Decor is ultra-modern and very chic, the kitchen is beautifully equipped with elegant crockery, the bathrooms are sparkling clean, and the whole apartment is unbelievably spacious. The BBQ on the covered verandah was begging to be used and the private verandah on the main bedroom a delightful spot for a private early morning cuppa. After a hectic two weeks driving over the South Island staying one night at a time in normal hotel rooms it was sheer delight to stay somewhere we could spread out, catch up on our laundry, and totally relax in while absorbing the views from our lounge and verandah. We will definitely stay here again on our next NZ visit." "Our family had a lovely long weekend, the weather was amazing, plenty to see and do. Dinning was excellent and to complete our time away from home was the accommodation. The apartment had everything we needed and more, very roomy, decor was modern and overall we loved the picturesque views from the deck. We will be looking to return soon. Would highly recommend to all."
